Phone Banking

We are here to listen to you.

The aim of phone banking is to enable you to perform banking transactions over the phone, without visiting the bank.

With phone banking you can:

  • Check your account balances
  • Set transaction amount and exchange rate for currency conversion transactions, perform non-cash conversions
  • Phone banking is also available via mobile and landline phones.
  • Make transfers

Service activation

Lump sum fee of AMD 5,000


Phone banking is available Mon-Fri from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Available through Zangi application

It is very easy to use phone banking with the Zangi app. Download the application from App Store or Google Play and call our Contact Center at +37410 561111, DM us on Facebook or send a message via our Live Chat on Ameriabank’s official website to activate the phone banking service.

Once you activate the service, dial 4521 to connect with us on Zangi.

Banking with just a call

Via phone banking you can perform most of your routine banking operations. You can check your account balance, make transfers between your own accounts and to accounts of other people with Ameriabank and elsewhere. You can also pay utility bills, etc.

How to use phone banking, if I already have an Ameriabank account

If you already have an Ameriabank account but do not use phone banking:

Visit our nearest branch office to sign the phone banking agreement. After you sign the agreement you will get an SMS containing your phone banking password.

What do I do if I have lost or forgotten my phone banking password?

When you activate the phone banking service, you receive the password via SMS. If you have lost or forgotten your password, please visit the nearest Ameriabank branch to recover it. You will need to provide a personal identification document. 

Can I give my phone banking password to others to check my account and make transactions on behalf of me?

Your phone banking password is there to protect your banking information. It is not advisable to disclose it to other people. If you have a joint account, all account holders will need to know the password.

Using phone banking you can receivie information about your current accounts, account balances, agreements executed between you and the bank and available services. You can sett value and exchange rate for FX transactions with the bank beforehand.

Phone banking is also used for: 

Account-related operations

  • Opening new account for an account holder client
  • Closing separate account (other than the client’s last account)
  • Freezing, unfreezing of account and other actions related to account management

Payment card-related operations

  • Ordering payment cards
  • Reissuing, closing payment cards
  • Card blocking, unblocking
  • Transaction disputing
  • Changing transaction limits and restrictions
  • Activating/deactivating VBV service and other servicing-related actions

Deposit-related operations

  • Making new deposits
  • Topping-up current deposits
  • Withdrawing deposit amount


  • Making partial loan repayments before the due date
  • Cancelling orders to the bank
  • Changing orders given to the bank by phone banking
  • Editing the client’s data registered at the bank (except for phone number)
