Customer Rights

Any person has the right to receive copies of information about Ameriabank CJSC defined under the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Banks and Banking”, article 20, part 3, article 43, part 2, and the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Securities Market”, articles 16, 120, article 126, part 1, free of charge. 
The bank provides the information specified above within 3 business days after receiving your request, except where other term is indicated in the request.
This information is available free of charge.
The information is provided within three business days upon receiving a written request from the applicant, except in cases where other term is fixed. The application may be filed:
The process and stages of accepting and responding to client complaints/claims are defined by the Client Complaint Handling Procedure approved by Ameriabank CJSC Board of Directors Resolution #10/21/09 as of October 29, 2019.

Attention! 

  • Pursuant to the RA Law on Financial System Mediator, if unhappy with the written response to a complaint-claim, an individual may apply to the Financial System Mediator, as well as protect his/her rights in court, or apply to the Central Bank or arbitration court if an arbitration agreement is in place. 
  • Pursuant to the RA Law on Financial System Mediator, if unhappy with the written response to a complaint-claim, a sole proprietor and/or legal entity may apply to the Financial System Mediator provided that at the time of applying it is considered a microenterprise in accordance with the RA Tax Code (except for the Organizations specified in the RA Law on Financial System Mediator), as well as protect its rights in court, or apply to the Central Bank or arbitration court if an arbitration agreement is in place. 
  • Ameriabank CJSC has entered into an agreement with the Financial System Mediator waiving its right to dispute the decisions of the Financial System Mediator applicable to the following cases only: (i) satisfied non-property claims, or (ii) claims where the amount of property claim does not exceed AMD 300,000 (three hundred thousand).
