How to order a Gift Card?

Visit Ameriabank’s nearest branch and present your ID card/passport and PPSN*

You will be requested to fill in the following documents:

  • Bank’s form
  • Application Agreement for Gift Card Provision

*If you do not want to open an account with the bank or are not an RA resident, PPSN is not required.


How to use the Gift Card?

       The beneficiary* should activate it ** upon proper identification and signing of required documents. The Gift Card should be claimed within 30 days starting from the day it has been ordered ***.

*Cardholder’s (beneficiary’s) name and surname are not embossed on the Gift Card.

**The Bank issues only Gift Cards that require activation.

***If the beneficiary (recipient of the card) fails to pick up the card within the specified period, the application will be canceled and the amount will be transferred to the account specified by the applicant. Commissions paid are non-refundable.

Who should apply to the bank for Gift Card-related issues?

In the case of issues with the Gift Card (card loss, expiry, damage, loss of PIN, retention by ATM, etc.), the following persons may apply to the bank:

  • the applicant - if the card has not been activated yet
  • the beneficiary - if the card has been activated

In the case of card loss, expiry, damage, or loss of PIN, the bank shall pay the available card balance to the client, whereupon the fees specified in the terms of service provision are charged.

Shall I lose the available balance in the case of card expiry and closure?

       No, if there are funds available on the Gift Card account at the time of its expiry or closure, the transfer of such amounts shall be made based on the order of the beneficiary (recipient of the card) if the card has been activated. If the card is not activated, the transfer shall be made based on the order of the applicant. The bank shall charge the fees defined by the bank’s tariffs.

If the applicant has not provided the required information for the transfer of the positive balance, then upon closing of the Gift Card, the card account with the positive balance shall be administered according to the General Terms and Conditions of Provision of Banking Services to Individuals and Payment Card Service and Usage Terms of Ameriabank CJSC.

Terms and conditions

Don't forget that: 

  • Gift Cards shall be valid during 1 year.
  • The Gift Cards cannot be re-issued.
  • Upon expiry of the validity period, the Gift Card shall be closed.
  • The amount on the Gift Card can only be used by using the card. The Gift Card cannot be used for online transactions.
  • Online/Mobile Banking is not available for Gift Cards.
