"Mir" payment cards are already served in Armenia
Ameriabank announces the start of service for cards of the Russian national payment system "Mir". All ATMs of the bank, including those located in marzes, already serve cards of the "Mir" payment system.
It should be noted that in the process of integration of the national payment systems of Armenia and Russia ("Mir" and "ArKa"), Ameriabank acts as a clearing bank from Armenia.
Ameriabank has initiated the process of issuing "Arka" cards, which will provide an opportunity to be served at non-cash service and cash withdrawal points of the Russian Federation. Soon these cards will be available to customers at Ameriabank.
Now Ameriabank is actively working to complete the service process of "Mir" cards through the bank's POS terminals. As a result, a number of hotels, large commercial, entertainment and service points, where Ameriabank POS terminals are installed, will have the opportunity to serve cardholders of the "Mir" payment system.
The integration of the national payment systems of Armenia and Russia will contribute to the development of bilateral tourism, as well as make card transactions for business and personal purposes more flexible and convenient.
