Gagik Sahakyan

Member of the Management Board, Corporate and Investment Banking Director

Born on June 16, 1973 in Kapan.

From 1990 until 1995 attended Yerevan State University, Faculty of Mathematics, graduated with a Bachelor degree in math. In 1995-1997 studied at the American University of Armenia, College of Business and Management, and received MBA degree. Gagik has also taken a number of professional courses, including executive training at the Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, Kennedy School of Government (2004), and Harvard Business School in 2018.

Gagik had previously worked at Ameria CJSC where he held positions from Senior Advisor to Head of Management Advisory Services (1999-2012). With his vast experience, Gagik took up second employment at Ameriabank where he works up to present. His professional career with Ameriabank includes positions of Advisor (2008-2010), Corporate Banking Director (2010- 2012), Member of the Management Board – Corporate Banking Director (2012-2019), and Member of the Management Board – Corporate and Investment Banking Director (since May 2019).
