Stop tools for financial security

To prevent financial fraud and ensure security of the customers’ data, Ameriabank has introduced Stop tools, effective July 1, 2026. The tools allow customers to block the online use of the selected services until unblocking them.

  • Receiving a loan
  • Terminating a deposit 
  • Transfers and payments to third parties
  • Cash withdrawal without a card via MyAmeria 
  • Opening a new card 
  • Opening a new account 

The complete list of services is available in MyAmeria/Ameria Mobile, as well as on other online platforms of the bank.
Once a service/services is/are blocked, no one (including the customer) can use it online through that profile until the customer submits an application to unblock the service(s) and the bank approves it. 
Services can be blocked by submitting an application at any Ameriabank branch, by phone, or through online platforms of Ameriabank, including the Stop Tools section of MyAmeria/Ameria Mobile application. 


How and when can the services be unblocked?

To unblock, customers can send the respective instruction via MyAmeria (individuals) or Ameria Mobile Banking application (private entrepreneurs and legal entities) or visit a branch of the bank.

  • Unblocking is possible no sooner than 24 hours after blocking.
  • If an online unblocking application is received after expiry of the 24-hour period, the bank will process the application within 12 hours following its acceptance. 
  • For urgent unblocking, visit any Ameriabank branch and the restriction will be removed immediately upon accepting your application.

The blocked service will be unavailable in all online service systems, regardless of the system through which it was blocked.
If the customers block the service, they will still be able to view the balances of their accounts, deposits and loans. Besides, they can use those services any time at any Ameriabank branch.

Detailed information about the use of Stop Tools is available in the Rules of Stop Tools Use that will be considered accepted as soon as the customers use a Stop tool for the first time.
