Ameriabank has fully placed its inaugural perpetual Additional Tier 1 (AT1) capital notes, raising a total of USD 100 million. The notes were issued in two tranches, in February and April, with the entire volume of each tranche subscribed ahead of the planned deadline, demonstrating strong investor demand.

Ameriabank has partnered with the European Investment Bank (EIB Global) to secure €105 million in funding, marking the largest direct loan from EIB Global to a bank in Armenia. This landmark financing underscores Ameriabank’s and EIB’s shared commitment to promoting economic development through private sector growth and advancing Armenia’s green transition.

Ameriabank has signed a $200 million long-term loan agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support climate finance initiatives, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and women-owned MSMEs in Armenia.

An agreement has been reached for Ameriabank to join Bank of Georgia Group PLC (“BOGG” or the “Group”), with the latter conditionally purchasing 100% of shares of Ameriabank (the “Transaction”).

The Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) has signed a USD 50 million NASIRA portfolio guarantee with Ameriabank.
