The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Ameriabank have signed an agreement for an equity investment equivalent of up to $30 million to strengthen Armenia’s banking sector and further promote financial inclusion in the country. This is ADB’s first equity investment in Armenia. ADB has also approved a loan of up to $30 million to Ameriabank.

Eurasian Development Bank and Ameriabank have signed USD 30 million loan agreement aimed at developing small and medium-sized business sector in Armenia. The project will contribute to the expansion of business lending in the country as well as  the development of the real sector.

Ameriabank announces, that it has signed a USD 11.5 million senior loan agreement with Symbiotics’ Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Bond issuance program, with a possibility to increase the amount by an additional USD 10 million in hard or local currency.  The loan facility is aimed at financing micro, small or medium enterprise clients of Ameriabank.

Ameriabank has signed a USD 30 million senior loan agreement with the Dutch development bank (FMO). The loan facility is aimed at financing younger retail clientele and SMEs led by young entrepreneurs.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is extending a US$10 million equivalent in local currency credit line to Ameriabank under their Women in Business (WiB) programme for on-lending to women-led small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
