Ameriabank and FMO (Netherlands Development Finance Company) have signed a USD 20mln convertible subordinated debt facility agreement.

Ameriabank is named the Best Bank of the Year 2014 in Armenia in the 23rd annual Award for Excellence ceremony by Euromoney Magazine. This is the third time Ameriabank receives this reputable award for excellence, having won same award on both 2011 and 2012.

Ameriabank has been awarded the 2013 Deal of the Year award by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

As a leader bank in the debt capital market and investment banking in Armenia, Ameriabank has been actively involved in corporate bond market for years, while at this time the Bank arranged the placement and acts as the market maker for the AMD denominated bonds issued by two leading international financial institutions - IFC and EBRD.

Emerging market investors endured challenging terrain in 2013, as decade-long tailwinds of falling interest rates and rising commodity prices faded.
