GOHAR KHACHATRYAN

Member of the Management Board, Chief Accountant

Gohar Khachatryan has served as Ameriabank’s Chief Accountant and a member of the Management Board since 2008.

Gohar graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy with a degree in Economics. She has nearly 30 years of experience in senior roles across Armenia’s banking system, including both the regulatory sector and private banks.

Gohar built a distinguished career at the Central Bank of Armenia, holding the positions of Accountant in the Bookkeeping Division of the Operations Department (1990–1992), Economist (1992–1994), Chief Economist in the Economic Analysis Division of the Operations Department (1994), and Leading Specialist in the Supervision Department (1994–2000).

She later joined Armimpexbank (now Ameriabank), where she held a number of leadership roles, including Head of the Balance Sheets and Reports Analysis Division, Financial Department (2000); Head of the Financial Statements and Expenditure Control Department (2000–2001); Head of the Administrative Accounting Division, Department of Finance (2001–2003); Chief Administrative Accountant (2003–2006); and Chief Accountant / Administrative Accounting Manager (2006–2008).

Following Armimpexbank’s acquisition by Ameria Group, Mrs. Khachatryan was appointed Chief Accountant and a member of the Management Board (2008–present). She is certified as an Expert Accountant by the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia.

Gohar has also combined her banking career with teaching and is a co-author of accounting-related publications.
