Skills and experience:

Mrs. Khachatryan’s expertise in accounting of the banking sector goes back to the very first days of the formation of the banking sector of Armenia. She has 30 years of experience holding key positions both in the regulatory body of the banking system and in private banks. Mrs. Khachatryan built sterling career path in the Central Bank of Armenia in the following positions: Accountant, Bookkeeping Division of Operations Department (1991-1992); Economist (1992-1994), Chief Economist, Economic Analyses Division of the Department of Operations & Leading Specialist, Audit Division, Banks and Financial-Credits Organizations Supervision and Audit Department (1994); Leading Specialist, Division of Economic Analyses and Studies of the Department of Banks Supervision, Regulation and Licensing (1994-1995); Leading Specialist, Report Filing and Accounting Methodology Development Division, Principal Department of Supervision, Regulation and Licensing (1995-1998); Leading Specialist, Report Filing and Document Inspection Division of the Supervision Department (1998-2000).
Afterwards Mrs. Khachatryan joined Armimpexbank (currently Ameriabank) as Head of Balance Sheets and Reports Analyses Division, Financial Department (2000); Head of Financial Statements and Expenditures Control Department (2000-2001); Head of Administrative Accounting Division, Department of Finance (2001-2003), Chief Administrative Accountant (2003 -2006); Chief Accountant/Admin Accounting Manager (2006 -2008). After the acquisition of Armimpexbank by TDA Holdings, Mrs. Khachatryan was promoted to Acting Member of the Management Board/Chief Accountant and Member of the Management Board/Chief Accountant (2008). Mrs. Khachatryan has combined her bank career with lecturing activity, and she is the co-author of Accounting in Banks.

Education:

Mrs. Khachatryan graduated from Yerevan Institute of National Economy as an Economist in 1985.
