Member of the Management Board, Director of Risk Management
Andranik Barseghyan has served on Ameriabank’s Management Board since December 2009.
Andranik graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) with a degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics. He earned a master’s degree from SEUA, followed by a PhD in Engineering (Candidate of Technical Sciences).
Andranik has published research in Armenia and internationally, including on banking risk management.
Andranik has built a distinguished career across banking, economics, and risk management. He began his career in banking technology at Armagrobank in 1995, in the Bank Technology Automation Department, first as Head of the Liquidity and Resources Management Unit, then Head of the Bank Risk Management Division, and finally Head of the Automation Division (1995–2002). In 2003, Andranik became Head of the Reporting and Analysis Division at Converse Bank. He was later appointed Head of the Risk Management Department and served on Converse Bank’s Management Board. Andranik joined Ameriabank in 2009 as Director of Risk Management and a member of the Management Board.
