Global Finance Magazine has announced its selections for the second annual Sustainable Finance Awards where Ameriabank has been named the Best Bank in Sustainable Finance in Armenia for 2022. The Bank is the first in the region to receive this award.

Ameriabank’s project on saving water and energy resources, implemented jointly with Banca Popolare di Sondrio (Italy), has been recognized as the Deal of the Year 2021: Green Trade by The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Global Finance names Ameriabank as the Best Bank in Armenia 2022 in its 29th annual awards for the World’s Best Banks. Ameriabank is honored to receive this recognition for the eighth time in the last decade and only a month after being recognized as the Best Investment Bank in Armenia by the same publication.

S&P Global Ratings improved the outlook on Ameriabank, revising it to positive from stable, and affirmed 'B+/B' long- and short-term issuer credit rating on the bank.  Ameriabank rating update follows the sovereign rating action: S&P assigned 'B+' long-term sovereign credit rating to Armenia, with positive outlook. This is the first sovereign rating assigned to Armenia by S&P.

Global Finance names Ameriabank as the Safest Bank in Armenia for 2021 in its 30th annual ranking of the World’s Safest Banks, which honors institutions that stand out for strength and resilience.
