Ameriabank is named Bank of the Year in Armenia 2020 by The Banker, a premier publication of The Financial Times. The bank is honored to receive this reputable award for the seventh time.

At the awards ceremony in London the organizers highlighted that Ameriabank earned this recognition given the impressive progress and achievements in a number of metrics, and innovative practices: "Our team has been conducting research among banks for several months, focusing on key performance indicators, development strategies, and customer service improvements. Ameriabank emerged as the clear winner in the Armenia country category, thanks to the robust growth it enjoyed over the review period, as well as its commitment to launching digitally-enabled services for its clients”.

According to The Banker Ameriabank has owned a valuable contribution to supporting small and medium enterprises in Armenia this year. Special emphasis was put on online loans offered by Ameriabank, which allowed small and medium-sized enterprises to apply for loans online and get the answer within minutes due to the embedded scoring system. The Banker also noted that Ameriabank’s online mortgage and car loan platforms are innovative solutions that provide convenience to customers and opportunities to effectively achieve business goals. 

The Banker awards are the world’s highest standard for recognition of achievements among the best financial institutions. Each year, banks from more than 100 countries around the world take part in the competition.
