Privacy policy of “My Ameria” system of Ameriabank CJSC

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy sets forth the terms of collecting and using Client information via My Ameria system of Ameriabank CJSC (hereinafter - the Bank).
1.2. Via My Ameria system, distance banking services are provided to the Client. The information and issues related to provision of banking services, which are not covered by this Privacy Policy, are set forth in the Bank’s General Terms and Conditions of Provision of Banking Services to Individuals (11RBD RL 72-01-01) (hereinafter - the Terms) and the Bank’s Tariffs for Individuals (11RBD PL 72-01-01).
1.3. The Client can use My Ameria system both via mobile application and web version.
1.4. In the context of this Privacy Policy, information means:

     • The information provided by the Client.
     • The information collected automatically.

1.5. The Client information is collected, stored and used by the Bank only for technical management of My Ameria system, as well as for analyzing and enhancing the system performance, for marketing and other purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.
1.6. My Ameria system obtains access to the Client’s data when the Client opens his/her personal profile in the system be means of the data entered by the Client.
1.7. The public URL (Uniform Resource Locator) https://mobile.myameria.am is used for operation of My Ameria system. It is a public domain of My Ameria system registered on the Bank’s DNS (Domain Name System) zone. The public address is used for secure communication between My Ameria system and the Bank and does not imply storage or sharing of any data about the Client.

2. Information provided by the Client

2.1. While providing services via My Ameria system, certain information regarding the Client can be collected and stored. Such information includes but is not limited to the following:

     • The Client’s personal details, when creating a personal profile by the latter in My Ameria system (such as name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, username).
     • Information related to the Client’s transactions (such as account numbers when making payments and transfers, utility contract data, payment method, transaction amount).
     • The information sent by the Client via “Messages” section of the system when contacting the Bank for help.

2.2. In case of providing certain services to the Client via My Ameria system, if the Client intends to use the respective service, based on the prior consent issued by the Client, the Bank, only within the framework of provision of that service, may obtain information/access to the contact data (phone book) recorded on the Client’s mobile device), the camera of the mobile device (e.g. to scan the payment card when making a transfer to a card, etc.), as well as the Client’s location (using GPS or other similar technology). The Bank guarantees confidentiality of the information mentioned in this clause and non-disclosure thereof to third parties.

3. Automatically collected information

3.1. While providing services via My Ameria system, certain information can be automatically collected and stored. Such information includes but is not limited to the following:

     • The type/model of the mobile device the Client uses.
     • The IP address of the mobile device the Client uses.
     • The operating system the Client uses (e.g. iOS, Android, other).
     • The type of mobile Internet browsers the Client uses (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, other).
     • The information about the option the Client applies to use the system (web or application).

4. Security

4.1. Concerned about safeguarding confidentiality of the Client information obtained via My Ameria system, the Bank protects the information provided by the Client and the information collected automatically in several ways. In particular, the Bank uses encryption standards and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol technology to help ensure that the information is passed without being intercepted by third parties.
4.2. To ensure security of the Client information obtained via My Ameria system, when logging to his/her personal profile, confirming the transactions executed via the system, as well as for all actions performed through the system that may contain the Client’s personal details, the Client enters his/her PIN code or goes through biometric identification (Face ID, Finger Touch ID).
4.3. The Client shall keep confidential the information required for logging into My Ameria system, not disclose to third parties the usernames, passwords, codes and other data required for accessing and using the system, and avoid any action that may lead to such information becoming accessible to third parties.
4.4. For security reasons, the Bank may conduct installed application information check to detect whether the Client has access to the operating system of the mobile device. If available, the Bank may restrict the Client’s access to My Ameria system, as it implies the possibility of editing the basic settings of the operating system, which makes the operating system vulnerable and may pose a risk to the use of My Ameria system and the data available in the system. The Bank guarantees confidentiality of the information obtained through verification mentioned in this clause and non-disclosure thereof to third parties.

5. Miscellaneous

5.1. By using My Ameria system, the Client accepts the terms and conditions set forth in this Policy and issues consent to collecting and using the Client information for the purposes detailed in this Policy.
5.2. Where there are legal grounds prescribed by the Republic of Armenia laws and regulations, the Bank will review and process the Client’s written application to terminate updating, deletion and/or processing of the Client’s personal data provided to the Bank, in the manner and within the time frames provided for by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Armenia and/or internal regulations of the Bank.
5.3. The Bank makes the changes to this Privacy Policy accessible to the Client through the Bank’s official website no later than 7 (seven) business days before enforcement of such changes (or later, if that is allowed by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Armenia, but no later than the date of enforcement), unless a stricter requirement is envisaged by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Armenia. Unless the Client notifies the Bank in writing of his/her intention to stop using My Ameria system under the terms of this Privacy Policy prior to the effective date of changes, such changes will be deemed accepted by the Client.
