Cards


  • What documents do I need to order a card?
    To order a card, physical entities should submit an ID and personal public services number. For more information and for the list of documents required for legal entities please click here.

  • What is the difference between various types of cards?
    Card benefits, card packages, discounts, service fees, credit limits and overdrafts as well as daily cash withdrawal limits very depending on the type of the card. 

  • What do I do if my card has been "swallowed" by the ATM of some other bank?
    Irrespective of which bank’s ATM swallowed your card, to have it back please contact Ameriabank.

  • Can I get a credit line on card?
    Ameriabank issues overdrafts without grace period via debit cards and credit lines with grace period via credit cards.

  • Can I withdraw cash from my card account without using the card? If yes, how can I do it? 
    You can withdraw cash from your card account without using the card at Ameriabank's branches. Commissions and fees are specified in the Terms and Conditions of Cards.

 


Loans

  • Where can I see the bank's list of property for sale?
    The bank's list of property for sale is available at grav.am. 

  • What can happen if I do not repay the loan when due?
    In case you fail to repay the loan interests and/or principal when due the information about your overdue liabilities shall be recorded in the Credit Register. 

  • How long does it take for the bank to review and respond to my loan application?
    The bank reviews the loan application and makes a preliminary decision within 2 business days. Final decision on the loan is made within maximum 8 business days upon receipt of the complete set of documents. The bank's decision will be communicated to you within 1 business day. The loan shall be disbursed subject to execution of security agreements in the manner required by the loan agreement. Where the loan is secured by property, it shall be disbursed within 1 business day upon proper fulfillment of the following conditions precedent: (i) execution of security agreements pursuant to the legislation of RA, such agreements prepared in form and substance satisfactory to the bank, (ii) insurance of the pledge (upon the bank’s request) by an insurance company cooperating with the bank, (iii) fulfillment of other terms of the loan by the borrower. 

  • What documents do I need to fill in a loan application? 
    The list of documents required for submitting a loan application varies depending on the type of the loan. Lists of documents required for getting loan are available at Retail Lending Terms and Conditions page and Corporate Lending Terms and Conditions page.

  • How do I repay the loan before the due date?
    You can repay your loan before the due date via Internet Banking or you can submit a corresponding application at the bank's branches. 

 




Distance banking

  • What is the difference between Internet Banking and Bank-Client systems? 
    Bank-Client is a software installed on your PC. Internet Banking system can be accessed from any device (via a browser), while Mobile Banking system can be accessed via relevant application. 

  • How can I use Mobile Banking ?
    To use Mobile Banking you need to activate Internet/Mobile Banking service at the bank and download Ameria Mobile Banking application. 

  • What do I do if I forget my password? 
    You can recover your Internet/Mobile Banking password yourself if relevant settings are in place, or by visiting the bank. 

  • How does the bank guarantee the security of distance banking systems?
    To ensure high-level security we use Digipass devices developed by VASCO Data Security, a world leader among providers of identification devices for on-line systems. Application rules of the security devices are available at Digipass 270 or Digipass GO3. The system ensures secure and protected banking services via SSL 128 bit key encoding protocol.

  • What documents do I need to use distance banking systems?

Deposits

  • In what currency and for what term can I make a deposit at Ameriabank?
    You can make a time deposit at Ameriabank in AMD, USD, EUR, and RUB for a term of 30-1825 days. You can also make a demand savings deposit in the mentioned currencies.


  • Can I terminate the deposit agreement and withdraw my deposit any time?
    You are free to terminate your time deposit agreement and withdraw your deposit any time but note that depending on the type of the deposit other interest rate will be applied while recalculating the accrued interests. For more information about the deposits click "Ameria" deposit page. You can withdraw your "Savings" deposit any time without recalculation of interests. Cash is delivered at the head office based on the request submitted by the client one day prior to the actual withdrawal date, if the amount exceeds AMD 30 mln, USD 100,000 or EUR 30,000, and for other currencies – AMD 1 million equivalent. Cash withdrawal limits defined for the bank's Yerevan-based branches are AMD 20 mln, USD 25,000 and EUR 15,000. Limits defined for the bank's regional branches are AMD 10 mln, USD 20,000, EUR 10,000. At the bank's regional branches any amount exceeding the specified limits is delivered within maximum 5 business days upon submission of withdrawal request by the client. 

  • What documents do I need to make a deposit?

  • In what currencies can I open an account with Ameriabank?
    You can open an account with the bank in all currencies quoted at the bank (AMD, USD, EUR, RUB, CHF, GBP, CAD, JPY, AUD, AED and paper gold (999.9 fineness)).

  • Which fast money transfers systems are available at Ameriabank? 
    You can make fast money transfers at the bank via MoneyGram and Unistream systems.

  • Which branches offer individual safe deposit boxes? 
    Individual safe deposit boxes are available at Sayat-Nova and Komitas branches.
